RNA is ribose nucleic acid which contains ribose sugar … while DNA is deoxyribose sugar whose ribose sugar lost an oxygen atom from the hydroxyl bind to the second carbon atom of the sugar . Another difference is that the RNA has uracil ( nitrogenous base ) instead of thymine.. please tell me if it helped you .

The various forms of RNA synthesize these proteins according to the information contained in DNA.  RNA has the function of synthesizing proteins and transferring information from DNA to the protein synthesis site in the cell.  Moreover, it has only one nucleotide-filled helical chain and its nitrogenous bases are cytosine, guanine, adenine and uracil.
